Israeli forces shot and killed 31-year-old Palestinian journalist Ghufran Warasna, an ex-detainee in Israeli prison, at the entrance to Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, today morning. Few days back, Israeli forces brutally killed Al Jazeera Journalist. Susan Sarandon, Tilda Swinton, and Mark Ruffalo were among over a hundred artists who have signed an open letter condemning Israel’s killing of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.

American model Bella Hadid always came into front line to protect human rights violation of Palestinian people. After Austrian crystal company Swarovski’s decision to make Palestinian-American supermodel Bella Hadid its brand ambassador, Israeli Cristilano Group has called for replacing her over her support of Palestine.

The month of May witnessed a surge in attacks on Palestinian journalists by Israeli forces and settlers as 148 Israeli rights violations documented by the Journalists Support Committee. The most prominent attack was the killing of the Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. The Israeli occupation has murdered 62 Palestinians, including 13 children, since the beginning of this year.

This is not the first time Israel has done this, it has always done so. Israeli forces used to target Journalists in past. In the last two months alone, videos of women reporters being harassed, beaten and killed by these occupying forces have gone viral on social media. Last year, with airstrikes and bombings, Israel demolished an entire building in just seconds last year. This building was owned by Al Jazeera Media House in Palestine, which was conducting its journalistic work.

On the other hand, when Russia attacked on Ukraine, situation was quiet change. The whole world not only condemned but also boycotted Russia in every possible way. They boycotted Russia in trade agreements, in bilateral relationships, diplomatic relations at each International forums. But sadly, despite all such incidents on a daily basis in Palestine, the whole world remained silent over this particular issue.

Last year, people from all over the world took to the streets in support of Palestine. Meanwhile, people waved Palestinian flags and staged demonstrations against Israel’s war measures. Palestinian People are still assassinated on daily basis. They are fighting for their basic needs and living in a state of war. The international community in particular is talking a lot about it, but world peacemakers seem unaware of the intentions of Israel and Palestine. If these intentions are not get resolve peacefully, the entire world will have to suffer it’s consequences in future.

US congresswoman Ilhan Omar: “The Israel’s expulsion of Musafer Yatta’s would displace nearly 1,000 Palestinians including 500 children rendering them homeless. There have been already 75 demolitions this year. “Enough is enough! Halt demolitions and prevent the destruction of Palestinian homes.”
