According to the Chinese military, it is constantly on high alert and ready to respond to any military provocation. The Chinese military say in a statement that it is closely monitoring the situation in the Taiwan Strait. It is also monitoring what the two US warships are doing in this sea area. The Chinese military’s Eastern Theater Command says about following the ships and warning them. While Taiwan’s Defense Ministry say the ships are heading towards south. Their forces were keeping an eye on them while the situation was normal.
